Approximately 107 students and 44 parents from 30 different high schools in the Bay Area attended the event. Nearly one-third of all participants were from low income and minority backgrounds. Activities for students included hands-on workshops by Qualcomm, Fluor, Abott, ASCE SJSU, SOLES SJSU, Amphenol TCS, and Lockheed Martin, as well as an engineering fair, lab tours, student panels and professional round tables. A separate program for parents included informational presentations, workshop demonstrations, parent panels, and professional round tables.

The WOW planning committee would like to express their gratitude to the volunteers and sponsors that made this successful event possible!
